Rs.20,000 Fine for Driving a Motorcycle Without a License

The Karachi Traffic Police have issued a strict warning for all motorcycle riders. According to DIG Traffic Peer Muhammad Shah, any citizen found driving a motorcycle without a valid driving license will now face a hefty fine of Rs. 20,000.

No More Relaxation for Traffic Violators

The DIG Traffic emphasized that no leniency will be given to those who break traffic laws. He advised all citizens to keep their driving licenses updated and follow the rules to avoid penalties.

Peer Muhammad Shah stated,

“Anyone caught riding a motorcycle without a license will face a fine of Rs. 20,000. Traffic discipline is essential for everyone’s safety.”

Speed Limit Set at 60 km/h for All Vehicles

In addition to license enforcement, the DIG Traffic also clarified the speed limit for all types of vehicles in Karachi.
He said that the maximum speed limit is 60 km/h, whether for small or large vehicles.

Over-Speeding Will Lead to Fines

The DIG warned that those exceeding the 60 km/h speed limit will be fined for over-speeding violations. The new crackdown aims to improve road safety and reduce the growing number of traffic accidents in the city.
