If you had failed one or more subjects in your annual matric exams, this supplementary exam gave you a second chance to clear them. You can now check your result by online methods or SMS.

What is Supplementary Exam & Why it’s Important

The supplementary exam is organised by the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) for students who couldn’t pass in one or more subjects in the regular annual exams.It gives these students another opportunity to secure passing marks and continue their studies without delay. Punjab boards hold regular matric exams in March-April. Those who fail are allowed to appear in supplementary exams, which in 2025 took place in late August to September.

You can view your result by any of these methods:

  1. Online (using Roll Number)
    • Go to your respective board’s official website.
    • Navigate to the Results section.
    • Choose “10th Class Supplementary Result 2025”.
    • Enter your roll number.
    • Click submit to see your marks/status. 
  2. Online (using Name + Father’s Name)
    • On the results portal, select the option to search by name (if offered).
    • Enter full name and father’s name.
    • Check the result status.
  3. Via SMS
    • Send your board code and roll number to the board’s designated SMS number.
    • The board replies with your result summary.

Passing Criteria & What Happens Next

  • Minimum passing marks in each subject are 33%. 
  • For subjects with practical parts (e.g. science), both theory and practical must be passed separately. 
  • If you fail again, you may need to repeat the year or wait for another exam cycle.
